Good Persian restaurant with genuine dishes. Food variety in the menu is big, quality is good, everything tasty, very filling amount on the plate. Service was fast, staff very friendly, prices acceptable. Location is in the backyard, so walk right in from the front. Recommended!

A nice Persian restaurant with a nice team. I've been there twice now, once in the evening and once at noon. In the evening the food was more than three stars (rice cold), and quite expensive. The second time at noon there was a lunch menu with a dish of the day for just under 10 € which I liked very much. Everything was right so 5 stars for lunch - a total of 4 stars on average. It is served on traditional plates, which really gives you the feeling that you are eating in Iran, accompanied by traditional music.

Outrageously delicious. Was here for the first time and definitely not the last! All the dishes were just amazing, the portions are the perfect size and everything is freshly prepared with incredible attention to detail. Authentic cuisine and ambience. The service is also super satisfying and friendly. We really couldn't find a single shortcoming and would come back anytime.

A very cute Persian restaurant. Slightly hidden in an inner courtyard, at Rotkreuzplatz. Wonderful food, very, very friendly staff !! Was my first visit there but definitely not my last !! Absolutely to suggest!

In Persian restaurants we always eat the skewers from the grill. We decided to order mixed dishes in the Diwan. Grill and also local dishes like loobiapolo and baghalipolo ba mahiche. I have to admit that it was the best leg of lamb I have eaten so far. Kabab Kubideh was very fresh and flavorful. Kabab barg was very tender and Tahchine Gusht was original Persian, thanks to the cook. The Sholeh Zard dessert reminded me a bit of my childhood, highly recommended. Nice all round

Dizi was just good, not perfect, also chenje kebab was delicious and also it's rice was perfect.

Short break in the Orient Only a few steps away from Rotkreuzplatz, past the McDonald’s on the right, the divan is hidden in a quiet inner courtyard oasis. Food and ambience: great! The dishes and smells (there is a shisha bar next door) made me think of past vacation trips to the Middle East. What I also really liked was the positive, cheerful atmosphere that was also spread by the guests at the other tables - as if you were on vacation, where everyone not only constantly looks at their smartphones, but also talks and laughs with each other and their food enjoy.

Very good food. The starter platter is highly recommended. The braised leg of lamb was soft as butter and very flavorful. The service was super nice and attentive.

There are few restaurants in the city of this size that have such a stylish and modern atmosphere, warm and friendly behavior of the staff, delicious and traditional food with an appetizing design. There should be no doubt about food at all. The truth is that Google does not have ten stars, otherwise I would have given it ??? مرسی??

What can I say, the pictures speak for themselves: colorful, appetizing dishes that enchant the taste. Very attentive and friendly service, great courtyard location. A visit to a restaurant that is not just a meal, but an experience. Definitely come back and recommend this restaurant!

We're always looking for middle eastern and Persian food when we visit München and this solace was a great find. The lamb was soft and melting in the mouth. The Kebabs were great too!

Very tasty food! The atmosphere was very relaxed. Totally recommend it if you like Persian-style rice dishes.

Dishes taste like home made

It might look like a usual restaurant, but Diwan is anything but! I wandered in with other friends of mine on a Sunday noon and was immediately greeted by friendly atmosphere and lovely personnel. The incredible aroma of Iranian food along with welcoming attitude of staff made us feel at home. And about the food, nothing could be better that it momentarily is. We have ordered Bakhtiari Kebab, Fesenjun, and Mahicheh and we were all more than satisfied with our dishes. All in all, highly recommended and can’t wait to be there again!

The staff is absolutely nice and they have the best persian food ever with very fair prices. I would like to visit there like every weekend. Marvelous and fantastic. Just try it and you'll never regret it.

Nice and cozy Iranian restaurant with friendly staff. I tried the dizi (a traditional Iranian meal) which was really tasty. I have also tried their Maitche another time which was indeed amazing. The prices are also fair. The tea and Baklava is also definitely recommended. One issue was that since the kitchen was so close to the sitting area the air was a little stuffed. Other than this, the food is really great and highly recommended. The restaurant owner and the waiters were very kind as well and asking for feedback to improve the quality of the place.

Nice Persian food. Nice option day wise in lunch time. Also, price is almost half in lunch time. Ayran was really good with rose flavour.

Diwan is a great Iranian Restaurant, it’s a must try in Munich! Home made delicious! I tried the “Sabzi Gheime” which was vegetarian and it was really good!

Tasty and fresh Persian cuisine with fair price and nice and friendly service. The kebabs are juicy and the rice are very well-made and aromatic. Much recommended.

I visited Diwan through Delinski’s food festival which means we only paid 1/2 of our receipt and, in that way, the price/ quality ratio was exceptional. Otherwise, even though the meat tasted like great quality, was marinated and cooked nicely and the red sauce burst in my mouth with exploding childhood memories (I am not from Iran), the price point would make me reluctant to recommend the restaurant as I can think of a couple other places with equally tasty food at significantly lower cost. Adding up to the downsides that distracted me from the food, the cold in the restaurant made eating very uncomfortable. But, of course, this is a very subjective and irrelevant observation. Kudos to the service lady who was as kind and nice as it gets ⭐️

The food was great and the service was exceptionally good. When we asked if they served Tadig the server had it made specially for us even though it wasn't on the menu which was really nice of her. She was also very attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend

When traveling to Munich, I had set my mind on going to Diwan persian Resturant! The food was superb and the staff were so nice and polite. The atmosphere is urban yet did the culture and history justice! I had the lobia polo ( which is green beans with meat and rice )and the kababs are to die for and since Im a Persian myself, I had high expectations and I was satisfied. I truly recommend this beautiful restaurant.
